Yesterday I was in Medicine Hat at the Farmer Symposium sponsored by South Country Co-op.
Focus on the 90% is one more tool for your farm tool box. Farming is hard. Farming is also very rewarding.
Even in the worst 10% times farmers have this amazing ability to keep going. Focusing on what is still good and what is positive about farming life will greatly affect your own health and well-being. That well-being will ripple to those around us on the farm. If we want others to be well and handle their stress, we need to model it for them. The impact of farming stress can have its toll on families. We need to make sure we have something left for the people that we love. Darci’s message will help you to see what is still good in a difficult time. It will help you to rally together on the farm, in your community and in your home.
